Notice the absence of Metallica and Nirvana (and Deep Purple) as they are the most overrated bands ever.

1) Bohemian Rhapsody- Queen- The best song ever. Great variety and perfectly written

2) American Pie- Don McLean- classic song, great lyrics

3) Crazy Train- Ozzy Osbourne- awesome riffs, best solo ever

4) Stairway to Heaven- Led Zeppelin- too redundant to warrant the #1 spot on this list but still a great song

5) Paranoid (Randy Rhoads version)-Black Sabbath- when Ozzy went solo he had Randy Rhoads add and improve riffs on this already awesome song

6) London Calling- the Clash- the most important anti-war song ever written

7) Hey Jude or I Want to Hold Your Hand- the Beatles

8) Highway to Hell- AC/DC- Angus Young`s best work

9) Baba O`Riley- the Who- everything in this song is great

10) Satisfaction- The Rolling Stones- best song by the Stones, deserved a spot on this list

1. Ray Charles-Georgia On My Mind: Really powerful lyrics and a great melody: the best song ever.
2. Queen-Bohemian Rhapsody: A timeless operatic classic by one of the greatest bands that ever lived.
3. Led Zeppelin-Stairway To Heaven: Page`s guitar opening, Plant`s great vocals, Jone`s powerful bass line and Bonham`s drumming make this one of the best songs ever.
4. John Lennon-Imagine: The best lyrics of any song, makes up for the rest of his dissapointing solo career.
5. The Beatles-Yesterday: McCartney at his best in this great ballad.
6. The Beach Boys-Good Vibrations: Brian Wilson`s harmonies and melody are brilliant this equals the heights of Pet Sounds in terms of achievement.
7. Queen-A Kind Of Magic-People say "never call Queen a two-man band" but after hearing this it is hard not to, the most melodically strong Queen offering with Mercury at his best and May`s guitar solo is sensational.
8. The Clash-London Calling-A great ant-war song.
9.Queen-Love Of My Life-The best backing vocals ever by May and Roger Taylor.
10. Michael Jackson-Jackson at his head-bangin` best.
