40. Never Again by Nickelback (great lyrics, the woman fights back after her husband beats up her and her son.)
39. Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen (cool because there`s only one singer)
38. Free Falling by Tom Petty
37. One by U2
36. The Little Girl by John Michael Montgomery (It`s country, but it`s a great song, sad, but good nonetheless.)
35. Fast Car by Tracy Chapman (A classic)
34. Mama I`m Coming Home by Ozzy (or was it Iron Maiden? No it was Ozzy.)
33. When the Children Cry by White Lion (A hair band that came out too late.)
32. In The Light by DC Talk [Jesus Freak is a classic album: The best selling Christian Rock album ever, so popular they had several mainstream hits as well. (Side note, a Christian album doesn`t necessarily mean a worship album.)]
31. You`ve Got a Friend by James Taylor
30. Imagine by John Lennon (The lyrics discribe Communism, which brings it down quite a bit, but it is a classic nonetheless.)
29. Boys of Summer by Don Henley
28. Born To Be With You by Sonny James (Lots of people have done this song, but Sony James` version is the most famous.)
27. The Mummer`s Dance by Loreena McKennitt
26. Shine by Newsboys (another Christian group, but this song actually made it as a mainstram hit, and is a very fun song)
25. Take It On The Run by REO Speedwagon (either that one or Keep On Loving You)
24. Johnny B. Goode by Chuck Berry (Duh.)
23. Ballad of a Teenage Queen by Johnny Cash (Actually, this song, recorded in 1958, is his biggest hit ever. It just squeaks past Ring of Fire.)
22. Right Now by Van Halen
21. Go Light Your World by Chris Rice (aka the Candle Song, another Christian song that was a mainstream hit a few years ago)
20. Heaven by Bryan Adams (either that or Summer of `69, but Heaven is a big wedding song.)
19. The Rose by Bette Midler (Sorry, but it`s a good song)
18. Remember When by Alan Jackson (His 2nd 9/11 song)
17. I Will Be Here by Steven Curtis Chapman (A big Wedding Song also.)
16. Beautiful In My Eyes by Joshua Kadison (I swear this is the last wedding song I have. It comes from a great album.)
15. Heal The World by Michael Jackson (Sorry, but this is a great song, his last before he lost it.)
14. I Can Only Imagine by Mercy Me (A mainstream Christian song wveryone likes.)
13. Sacrifice by Elton John (He has so many great songs, I couldn`t decide. It was either Sacrifice or Candle in the Wind and Sacrifice won.)
12. Blue by LeAnn Rimes [Just think, she was 12 when she sang this. (Plus she grew up to become hot.)]
11. November Rain by Guns N Roses (The longest song to hit #1, it is 8+ minutes long!)
10. Run by Collective Soul (Remember this one?)
09. Lines Upon Your Face by Vertical Horizon (From their first album, this is a slow acoustic song with great lyrics)
08. Nothing Else Matters by Metallica (Duh.) (By the way, St. Anger sucked.)
07. I Am by Nichole Nordeman (She is a Christian singer, but has had a few mainstream hits, most recently Brave, but I Am is a nostalgic song, with great lyrics. Plus she`s hot.)
06. Letters From War by Mark Schultz (He has had many hits, but none compare to this song. It is the greatest video ever. He performed this song for Pres. Bush in 2004. Check out the video at www.mark-schultz.com)
05. The Dance by Garth Brooks
04. Georgia On My Mind by Ray Charles (Great movie Mr Foxx.)
03. I Believe by Blessid Union of Souls (Remember this song? It is great!)

The best rock bands of all time are as follows: Led Zeppelin,The Rolling Stones,AC/DC (FYI The Beatles are over-rated and in today`s world have more of a pop sound)

1. Stairway to Heaven Led Zeppelin (probably the best guitar solo ever)
2. Satisfaction - The Rolling Stones (just all around fantasic-can`t beat Mick Jagger)
3. Back in Black - AC/DC (amazing guitar intro, I`ve noticed this song is severely under-rated but angus kicks Butt)
4. Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin (if Stairway to Heaven doesn`t have the best guitar solo ever, this song definitely does, either way, it belongs to Jimmy Page)
5. It`s Only Rock `N` Roll - The Rolling Stones
6. Sweet Child O` Mine - Guns N` Roses
7. Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC (if you know good music, this song is up there)
8. Enter Sandman - Metallica (great song)
9. We Won`t Get Fooled Again - The Who
10. Money - Pink Floyd

Some of these can be rearranged within themselves, but my top 3 will always be the same. Zeppelin showed the world good music, The Rolling Stones put out most of the best music for decades (by the way, they aren`t dead yet because even God can`t kill Rock `N` Roll Immortals, and AC/DC`s Back in Black is one of the best, if not the best, album of the past 30 years. (Also, feel free to add the rest of my top 3 bands` song for 11-50, including THUNDERSTRUCK!!)

I hate to tell you you idiot, but if hey jude is the third best rock song ever, you have an extremely loose definition of rock. Angus Young is not the best guitarist of all time obviously, but he may be the most fun to watch. Harrison could`ve learned a thing or two from him. And the fact that you don`t appreciate AC/DC tells me that you appreciate nothing about Rock `N` Roll.

Comparing George Harrison to ac/dc shows that you know nothing about rock. Ac/dc is one of the most overrated bands of all time. Their songs all sounded the same, lyrics sucked, and angus young was ok at best.

Again i hate to bring this up, but not only is AC/DC not the most overrated band ever, but the Beatles are. The lyrics aren`t timeless, they just happened to be playing during a time when America needed something to fill the void in life. The Beatles aren`t rock, AC/DC is, its simple. If you do not want Angus compared to Harrison, you can look to Page or Richards. I dont care
