I absolutely love Whitacre`s works, however October is not the only one I enjoy. Some of his lesser-known gems are "Sleep" and "Lux Aurumque." "Water Night" is gorgeous as well. If you have a chance, check out the Choral recordings of "Sleep," as well as the band version. Both are incredible. Also, "Cloudburst" is incredible.

I recently had the opportunity to make the TMEA All State Band, and Whitacre premiered a song there. I got the opportunity to meet him, and have him sign my October score.
