I just got done giving a Yamaha 211 flute a face lift. I was able to find a nice used Yamaha for my niece to start off band with for next school year. She is very excited and I am too. I have posted pictures of her special flute. I wanted her to have a unique flute that no one else will have in band. She will be starting at a new school, so I thought that would help some. She lives in another state, so I won't be giving it to her till July. I can't wait to see her face when I do. Anyway, it was fun putting all the work into it. Let me know what you think.
I think I'ts nice.
But Also I steal think you shuld give her Ferst act flute you basikly made.
She can have 2 flutes. Cant she?
And both af them are unick.
Thanks Kippsix.
Lera, I sold the First Act flute so I could use the money toward this one. I really am not to fond of First Act flutes and I wanted her to have a more reliable flute. Yamaha I know I can trust. IMHO, they make the best student flutes out there today.
That is the most gorgeous flute I've ever seen! I wish I had a flute like that...I have two-- one's my 30 year old marching band flute and the other's my new flute that I got for Christmas last year, but I've never seen such creativeness!
Thanks everyone! I really wanted her to have something special. She is having trouble with her weight, so the kids are not always excepting toward her. You know how kids can be at the age. She it the sweetest, funniest and most out going person so having a unique flute will go with her personality. I can't wait to give it to her!
Very nice. I guess my thought was also like others here about the fact that others will be jealous. In fact you said that you wanted her to have something that no one else had.
It has been said here that school is a dangerous place to bring a nice instrument.
With jealousy comes trouble. I would personally worry about someone trying to steal or damage that flute because they will be jealous.
