At the top of the page, there are several tabs-the furthest to the right is 'forums.' Go into the flute forum and go through pages till you get see "out of air."
well, have you alway had this problem? If you have, the other forum should help. If not, consider this: have you recently changed your practice procedures or environment? A dusty room or one in which cleaning chemicals are present could make playing more difficult ever in it doesn't bother you in every day affairs. Or if you recently upped your practice time or changed your embouchure. It could even be a medical problem maybe you should have a physical done. Hope this helps!!
It does seem concerning that this is a new phenomenon. Could you possibly have some middle/inner ear fluid or congestion?
It sounds like you are a student, I think it would be a good idea to share this with your parents. You may want to rule out any physical problems. Dizziness is generally secondary to something else, it may be inner ear or even something to do with blood pressure.
If you are not an adult, please tell your parents.
If this has always happened, how could you possibly play the flute for three years and always get dizzy? I think that I would have given up a long time ago!
well sometimes when i have finished playing i often feel light headed its nothing to worry about i think its because we use up all the air in our body and need a new supply of oxygen lol. so once you've finished playing take some deep breathes a sip of water and sit down and you should feel fine.
OH!:D i'm the one who asked the same question..well kinda. i don't get light headed or dizzy but i run out of air. that thread "i'm oUT OF AIR!!"..yea, that's me! thanks to everyone i improved. bilbo had some nice things to say..
Hey thanks everyone . YEs this has been happing for a long time it is not anything new it started when i started to play. I ma not an adult i am only 14
emz it is not just when i am done playing it is after a little while of playing it comes to me and normaly i am still in band class so i have to keep playing i dont stop because when i do the rest of the flutes stop playing
This used to happen to me and I've been playing for almost 2 years. I was told that it is normal to feel dizzy if you are a beginner. But everyone is different, so don't worry.
THanks. I try not to worry but sometimes i can not help it because it has gottin so bad ( at the concert) that when i stood up when we were done playing i thought i was goin to have to sit down because it felt like i was going to pass out . I made it though the girl next to me helped lol grabed my arm lol
