Yes in Belize it gets very hot, but if I remember correctly we have very nice sea breeze most of the time

It was warm all year round this year. it was 80-85 degrees in January for a while. But I guess it's not as bad as living in Africa or something.

Curren heatwave in France has killed 9 people so far. +40C in Bordeaux and +36C in Paris. That's unusual. My daughter reports +40C in Frankfurt, while we have a "mild "+32C... in Madrid. Strange weather, indeed.

<Added>

Current, sorry.

Yeah, indeed the weather seems switched...

Here in the "samba and football land" capital city we have confortable temperatures varying between 14 and 25 celsius.
For us this is winter, but hearing that in London it's 36 degrees is a bit scary.
Mother nature is just sending us the bill...

cheers,

Zevang

We were at 118 degrees F yesterday! My family spent the day inside, drapes/curtains/blinds all closed, lights off watching movies!! The AC is really humming away. The power bill is running at $13/day, that's nearly $400 a month.

I hear you there, Kippsix.
My eletric bill this month was crazy! Our central air just doesn't want to keep up. I have the all the ceiling fans and a floor fan on for the buns as they are really hot. Poory babies

Wow! I see other places are getting it worst than Belize. Belize district gets nice sea breeze but the other districts aren't so lucky...Currently the weather is ok here because of the rain. On a hot day while we (my mom and I) were driving(my mom was drivingI'm too young) to where we live, it began to rain, and smoke was coming up from the highway...alot alot of smoke!!(..should i call it smoke?*thinking*)

I'm from Singapore, if anyone knows where it is. And no, it's not part of China, and the day temperature here is consistently above 30 degrees Celsius, with a humidity of over 90%. It's like a sauna here, beat that

Now we have a big change in weather here.
I could say it's just like in the desert.
Humidity below 20%, temperatures ranging from 9 to 29 celsius.

I'm concerned about what to do with my lips for them not to get dry. What would you do to prevent this?

Zevang

As a desert dweller I can tell that the key to keeping your lips moist is hydration! Drink water, lots of water.

Also, I think it's important to prevent your lips from getting overly dry by using a cheap lip balm a few times a day (chapstick or whatever you prefer), so that you don't have to fix/repair your lips with more potent/expensive concoctions.

I hate chapped lips!
