I am looking for some music to be played with a piano or an organ at church. My church is fairly conservative so I can't play anything to fancy. If anyone could give some suggestions of pieces that are easy to learn, please let me know. Thanks.

Anything from a hymn book would work. You can play the soprano part (melody) the whole time or play harmony by playing one or a combination of more than one of the other voice.

Other repetoire selections really depend on how good you/the organist are. I usually don't have organists around to play with who are great readers, so I play easy stuff like "to a wild rose" and "popular" classical music selections with minimal accompaniment

Fluteworld.com has a whole selection of sacred music...Chances are you could find something suitable there.

I forgot to say, www.fluteworld.com has a sacred music section (under flute music collections) which you might want to check out

I have a book called "Sacred Solos for the Flute Vol 1," ed. Gilliam & McCaskill, from Cathedral Music Press. It has a nice selection of classical sacred selections from Bach, Corelli, Pachelbel, Massenet, Handel, and Schubert. I must add, in keeping with what someone else said, that, in looking through the book, some of the piano/organ accompaniments are a bit more difficult than the flute part (which are FluteWorld Grade 2--Intermediate). There is also a Vol. 2, which according to one website I found (whose link was far too long to post), has a decent selection of Christmas hymns/carols.
