We really should have a Ebay thread just for all the funny adds on there. Hey, that haunted flute sold for $40. Lol! I wonder if the new owner of it has creepy thing happening to them now. Darn! I knew I should have bought that flute!
That is absolutely ridiculous! You'd think they could do the simply research to get the flute oriented correctly with the body, even if all the finger positions aren't perfect, or just show the instrument. That girl really has nothing to do with the sale (I hope).
Wait a minute!! I had to take a second look, not being a flute player myself. She's not even holding the flute the right way! Even I know that both hands aren't supposed to be on the same side.:P This just goes to show you that people really don't know anything about what their selling.
What is more incredible is that the seller insists on showing details (ph #4) on how the flute is hold and played.
It still astonishes me that so many people have no idea at all on the way of holding a flute, as if they had never been at a concert or just watched TV.

Sad"
I once went to a very expensive live performance by legendary mime artist, Marcel Marceau.
Unbelievably, he held an imaginary (transverse) flute with both hands the same way, with his fingers moving to and fro along the instrument as if it were a keyboard.
I would have thought that such a person would have been a master of observation of spacial relationships and movement.
Yes, Marcel Marceau was one of the greatest mimo ever. (I'm not sure whether he still lives, but if he does, he must be very old)
He made a school of his art in Europe and one of more remarkable aspects of his performances was his ability to convince the public about what he was doing -with imaginary objects. I am sure he studied every movement and every gesture in the greatest detail possible.
It is really incredible that he could mistake the flute by, say, a kind of mixture between a keyboard harmonica and a traverse flute.
I must believe you, but still I cannot believe it! There must be a rational reason, yes, but which?
