I have an audition tomorrow and could use some advice...it is not my first put anything to improve my tone, lose my nerves, and go more quite and loud????? thank you very much!!

Try medetating (THet might help you calm down)
Dont looks straight at other people concentrait on your music.

Find a nice peaceful quite place or a favorite place of yours, maybe sit down with a cup of hot tea, clear your head and pray.
Hopefuly that will help with nerves. Good luck with it!

WELL TODAY IS THE DAY!!!! I've been working a little under a month on this audition..it's like a county band and VERY competitive! Thanks for everyone's support! I'll tell you the results as soon as I get them back! I have 2 hours to practice and am going to use every mintues... it's at 3:35 (my time) so wish me luck when it comes around...THANKS AGAIN!!!!

take fast tempi a bit slower, the music will sound faster if you play all the notes
focus completely on your tone
Take Kara's advice and find a quiet spot, avoid other participants, they will be playing loud and sharp with lots of vibrato in hopes of psyching everyone out
be yourself..

Pretend that the people listening to your audition are there to hear you play nice things for them, rather than worrying about them judging you, or counting mistakes.
