For those of you who might be interested, there is a new cooking show starting to air on public TV here in the states called Lidia's Italy, I recorded the sound track you will hear along with guitar, oboe and cello, very nice music, we may even be producing a CD in the near future...
If you go to the website in your area from the list, just put Lidia's Italy in the search engine to get showtimes, it will be a good show, I would welcome any comments about the music..
hi patrick, we're not going to get the tv show in the uk, so is there any chance you could get a recording of it and either post it here as a link or on youtube ?? I'd love to hear how you sound on your simba
Really cool, Patrick.
It drives me right up the wall when a TV show's theme, or score, uses a fake (synthesizer) flute.
I can stop yelling at the TV now!
Patrick, you are amazing! I actually read this post about five minutes before the show was on and, after doing some quick channel surfing, I found it! You did every single flute part on the show? Wow.... *open mouthed* It's exactly how a flute is supposed to sound.
if anyone else has heard this music for this show, please share your comments with me...that is a request from the music producer, your opinion matters..you can go to www.lidiasitaly.com to get show times in your area...
lol...hey i might be able to watch it cause it says that the show is played on CPTV in Connecticut... But I wasn't able to search the exact time/day when the show usually starts. Hopefully i'll get to hear you play (with your super-oober-lucky expensive Simba )!
Patrick,
I am familiar with Lidia and her show, but is this a new one? I looked at our local listings and found her show, but it didn't specifically say "Lidia's Italy". So, I'm not sure about it.
Patrick, no way I can watch the show in Spain. What about posting a short part of it here (mp3) or Youtube (video)?
I have heard that it is not considered to be a copyright violation when publishing excerpts no longer than 15 seconds if taken from public TV and used in the context of illustrating an article or similar purposes.
Do you think you could get permission from the rights owner to do that? After all, they are interested in receiving as much feedback as possible...
