Good evening,

as I had to learn the circle of fifths myself lately I wondered if there are any free learning tools around on the net. I didn't find one and programmed one myself. Please take a look here and tell your students about it, in case you like it

www.circle-of-fifths.net

Suggestions are of course most welcome
Yours, Jan

Your site is fab, Jan! I'm 30 and found it really informative - wish my teacher had taught me like that when I was little... Goodness knows how I slaved to understand the relationship between signatures. Well done, and Thanks!

maybe, doesn't 8notes have a recorder...not the instrament, the thing that copies somthing you say...you can use that by recording yourself by listening how you did and fixed the things that sound bad.
Hope that helps.

Dear Rose, thanks for the information. Same here: I learned classical piano from 6 to 19 and my teacher never did theory with me. I quit party because I couldn't play a single note when there was no sheet music
Have a great weekend. Yours, Jan

Hi!
Amazing site!! One thing, I found a mistake on Test 2. Question 21 says: Write down the A scale (starting and ending on D and divided by a blank space). I wrote down the A scale starting on D but it said it was wrong. The correct ansrew was A scale starting on A. Other than that I love your website!!!!
