Just wanted to share a great online directory music schools, festivals and workshops at www.bridgetomusic.com. I'm starting to look for music schools and they seem to have a really extensive listing. You can request information directly through the site. A great resource!

Here's one for you.
If you look up the profile of vhensner who joined 13 Aug 2007 you will see that this individual's 10 recent (and only) posts on various instrument forums around 8 Notes dot com were all entitled, "Is there a directory online for music schools and music festivals?" and they were all responded to by another person, mkellington who also joined on the very same day, 13 Aug 2007.

The wording of all 10 of these posts seems to be identical to the . and they were all posted and responded to within 10 minutes of each other on these forums.

hmmmm.....my conclusion,

1)Me thinks I smell a carp AND

2)I have too much time on my hands this fine morning.

As long as people want to advertise and sell something they will try to keep ahead of the public. Unfortunately for them, their inherent lazyness can tip off the observant ones. In this case, I think it's interesting that someone tried to represent themselves as some kind of Joe Q. Public and also responded to themselves as some other casual Sam McFriendly.
