I am a senior in high school and play the flute and piccolo. I participate in the all region, and all state honor bands, but was wondering if anyone had heard of anymore honor bands in Oklahoma or Texas that might be worth trying out for. I have heard of the OBU honor band and OU Honors Wind Ensemble, but that is about it. Thanks.
When I was in high school, honor band information came through the band director.
What honor bands have members of your band participated in, in the recent years?
Usually, colleges/universities will sponsor honor bands.
If you've been in regionals and all-state, then you probably could be asking the people you met at those events, many times you will see the same people at the different events.
