jazz flute: where to begin

Hi everyone, I'm new. I'm an 11th grade flutist who is considered "good" for my age, I frequently participate in all-state, all-county, and the like, and this past summer had the amazing opportunity to play and work with the London Symphony Orchestra.

I don't have a lot of extra time on my hands (college...eeeek), but I want to start dabbling in some jazz flute. Where would be a good source, perhaps online or text, where I could perhaps learn some basic techniques without the benefit of a teacher? Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
