Each time I login, I'm asked for a verification code that was supposed to be sent to my email address. I've never received a code. Did I miss something in the registration process like registering with a PayPal account?
Also, I don't get the capability for <added> that I've seen in some other's posts.

well, it seems as if you can log in somehow. I received the verification code that was sent to my email address that I registered under. After entering that code one time, It has not asked for it again. Periodically it seems to ask for the login info. As for the other capabilities, this may ahve to do with your browser. With my one form of browser software the capabilities are limited only to "Add melody" but I can add bold and Italic by manually typing in the HTML code.
but with IE I can add BOLDItalicsunderlinelink and along with adding a melody...

I registered with user name - dio . Got verification code. So, I'll use "dio", and see if it works better.

glad that it's working fine.
On a lot of forums, it seems as if they are making people log in more. It cuts down on the spammers I think.

I had to login every time I wanted to post. Now I can post multiple times without having to login each time. I'm like a kid in a candy store. Whoops I'm dating myself, age wise that is. It'll wear off soon, so bear with me.

The difficulties with auto login could be related with cookies management in your browser or the identification cookie that has expired for some reason.
Check that you have not changed the security settings of your browser to block cookies.
<Added>
The Paypal account (or payment of any sort) is necessary to become a subscriber of the site, which increases your access to additional benefits such as more free scores and other files.
But it is no mandatory in order to become a member of the Forums in this site.
