Can we all make a pact to simply ignore any of his future posts? Even if it's a personal attack against you, just ignore it. Our responses, even if we're being legitimite, are only making matters worse. Eventually if no one reponds to him, he'll get bored and go away.

i've had many messages and e mails from people feeling the same way, i only posted this in the first place as a matter of desperation and exasperation, it was my one mild outburst :-))
i'll go back to ignoring him :-)

I think that this approach is definitely the best idea. There have been so many attempts to communicate reasonably with him, to no avail.
