Hi, I was looking at the Azumi 3000 and The Gemeinhardt B20, and they both seemed like great flutes, but I was wondering if anyone has had an experience with these flute, more so the Gemeinhardt, since I have an Azumi Flute player in band. So if you could let me know whichever one be a better that would be great, but please keep in mind that I will be trying out these flutes before I buy them.
In my mind, they're both pretty decent flutes. I was shocked by how much better the Brio performed than some of Gemeinhardt's previous offerings, while the Azumi is a good flute for a good price and matches with Altus' reputation pretty well. They haven't been around long enough to know how they'll hold up in the long run, but either one could be a good choice if it suits you. Definitely give them both a playtest and see what you think.
I would love to try the brio realllyyy badly, ive heard good things about them I love gemeinhardt(i like all companies though)
and the azumis too
but gemeinhardts, I think are really handsome, or good looking flutes, ha, I always have, and sound good for me but the Brio look nice.
i strongly recomend the gemeinhardt because of the Dana Sheridan headjoint and the professional level body. i love the sound of gemeinhardts. i say which ever flute you like better, thats the one you should get.
