On fluteworld, they have Brio model alto flutes, are these by gemeinhardt? if so does anyone have information on them?

as far as i know they are not gemeinhardt, all i remember when i heard what it was is that i was really shocked. it might be a sankyo head but i am not sure.

Brio! is made by Gemeinhardt. It consists of their upper end flute bodies coupled with a headjoint designed by Dana Sheridan, but it is not a Sheridan head; it's still cut by Gemeinhardt as far as I know. I have not tried their altos but have tried C flute brios.
