The last few months the Altus flutes have really been catching my attention, does anyone have any experience with the Altus flutes?

I played an Altus flute for a short while when I had one home on trial. I think it was the 1107 model. It was a very close call, but I ended up purchasing a Muramatsu. In my opinion, the Altus is a great flute - nicely built, and the keywork felt great. I would recommend that you take a serious look at it.

I hope this humble opinion helps you.

I have trialed them, and can concur with the above info. I thought they had nice projection and tone, felt good in the hands, and the construction felt solid. I was particularly impressed with the Altus Azumi, and thought it was good bang for the buck.

I have an Altus headjoint that I absolutely love, but I use it on a Pearl Elegante body.
