I'm trying to remember the name of a flute piece, but I can't. It's tormenting me, so I'm hoping it will ring a bell for some people here.
I know some history behind the piece, so here goes nothing.
There was a composer (possibly female), and "she" was in love with the principal flutist of an orchestra. She poured her heart out and composed a piece just for him. Unfortunately, he wasn't moved, so he didn't return her love.
I hope that was descriptive enough. :/ Please help!

Exactly what Patrick said. I knew what it was right when you started with in love with a principle flute player. That is one of my favorite pieces to play and here!

Hi!
I have found a super great store (good prices, also) with many, many scores, scores + acc. tracks and the like. Also several versions of the Concertino, including one with CD with piano accompaniment.
Where?
Here, in this same site. click on "home" label -->click on "flute" picture --> click on "Free Sheet Music" and then click on the label "Flute Store"
But no flutes on sale there, unfortunately.
