Hi,
I just noticed that there are a bunch of flutes on ebay being advertised as alto flutes. They do not appear to be alto flutes from the pictures. They look to me to be just a regular run of the mill C flute with a curved headjoint for kids.
Then they want to charge you $130 to ship it from China. I appears to be one of THOSE flutes. If you know what I mean.
What do you guys think? Am I wrong?
I just thought that I would bring it to your attention. You may want to warn your students.

Well,
You know how some people are. They get all excited about flutes. They see an add for a cheap alto flute and they want one. They may have never seen an alto flute so they buy the thing. They don't care if it is crap. They just want a new toy.
My biggest problem with it is false advertising. They are not selling an Alto flute. They are pushing a standard C flute of a brand I would not personally buy.
