HOLY COW ARE THEY OVERPRICED! well, thats just my thought. does anyone else think so? Im saying this because while im still young i got a chance to try a 14k gold sterling mechanism. all i can say is that is was the best thing i have ever played, the only things that come close are powell, and miyazawa. when i was done playing it i asked " how much is this?" the woman replied, a little over 21,000 for the b-footjoint! my jaw dropped lol! so ive decided now i am going to start saving for a flute like that, i have about 700 already saved! does anyone else think these are the most expensive?

When I was flute shopping last year, I thought they were the highest priced I came across. I played one and it was almost worth it though lol. It was pretty freaken sweet.

Brannen
Burkart
Emmanuel
Powell
Muramatsu
Haynes

If I had to rank off the top of my head & not looking anything up, those are who I think are the most expensive, in that order. But they are also the finest names in flute, among others.
