Ok I need some advice. When I play faster pieces, i always get an airy tone out of my instrument. Is this my tonguing or an air issue? And my other question is breathing. I can't play two measures without taking a breath. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated!!

Really, this has been biting at me and I want to learn how to fix it....

could be both...try this, always practice staccatto passages all slurred, slur breath to breath, then try it articulated to get that smooth feel to the phrase...also try using more of a "du" tonguing on fast passages, "tu" is too percussive sounding...

Besst advice I gan give is to get a flute teacher, before you spend more time practicing poor breath and embouchure conrol.
