I really do like my flute that I have currnetly but its keys are too clunky for my taste. How do adjust them!

Take it to a repair shop and they will disassemble it and adjust the springs for you.

If it is "clunky" it may not simply be the springs. More likely, the keys need to be refit. Spring tension can only be adjusted so far due to the geometry of the key design. Some flutes need to have slightly stiffer springs for the "best" results.

Also, a lot of flutes have the main rods held in place by rather simple cutouts and such(too simple, IMO), so it's easy over time for the rod itself to get out of true, especially if you tend to hammer on the keys as you play.
A good tech will be able to fix this if it's happened.
