Hi everyone. Just wondering if any of you have tried the Pearl Forte Headjoints on the handmade Pearl Maestas. I know you have to really play a headjoint to try it but I find that a lot of headjoints can be grouped by playing characteristics/resistance etc (e.g. more easy blowing oval cuts, squarer cuts, etc) and I'm just wondering where these pearls are in that spectrum. Any comparisons to other makers/cuts would be helpful also. I'm just wondering if it's worth me trying one (not as easy to find versus some other headjoints) or not. So far, the headjoint I've been most satisfied with is the Yamaha AY, but I also like the Powell Philharmonic (really like the response/overall balance but don't particularly like the tone/colour as much). Thanks in advance.

If you want to try a Forte Head, Contacting Fluteworld to arrange a trial would be easiest.
