Im currently working on the 4th mvt of the Robert Muczynski Sonata and im not sure how to practice it? lol

1.should i work on one page at a time...like get one page up to the right tempo then move to the next page and work on getting that up to tempo?

2.should I just work on getting the Double tonguing and runs up to tempo..Cause other then the DT and runs its mostly eight notes.

3.or should i just play the whole piece over and over and bump the tempo every few days

Im on the first Page at 120-tempo and the piece is 150-tempo i can play the piece at 150 without the runs and DT...HELP Me Im soo confused!!

just practice the DT runs. Just repeat the hard section many times and bump up the metronome a notch and play it a lot again. Its not worth the extra time to play the parts you can already play over and over

practice slowly of course...always play the DT runs slurred first so that they don't have that choppy feel..also try using more of a du-gu articulation when playing faster as it has a smoother sound

Okay i started back at 100=tempo with DuGu articulation and its seems to be clearer then using TKTK...So for the whole song i would be using dugu on all the DT parts?...If people use Dugu as a DT articulation then whats TKTK or tahkah tahkah used for?

This is how fast the piece is suppose to go and this is how it sounds like(for the people who have never heard this piece before) 4mvt

t-k-t-k is used on shorter more staccato passages , d-g-d-g is better for longer rapid passages as the notes connect better, yet can still sound separated...t-k-t-k- on long 1/16th note passages can get very tinny sounding...
