allow yourself time to adjust, you may not get your normal good tone for awhile, don't worry, that's normal, do lots of scales and long tones...

practice long tones in front of a mirror to make sure you keep a good embochure. it takes time to adjust back to ur normal tone so just keep practicing.

I have braces too. What helped me get my tone back was practicing lots of long tones and also playing a chromatic scale (full range of notes you can comfortably play). Practicing in front of a mirror really really helped too, for some reason. It only took a few days for my normal tone to come back. A
And if the insides if your lips start to get sore be sure to put a little wax on!

I'm not sure if this applies to you, but I remember having to drop my jaw a bit lower to get a clearer tone when I first had my braces...maybe try that.
