When i play my flute for an extended period, i get so dizzy, and my lips feel numb and it is just weird. I have no idea why this happens...anyway to make it stop?

May have to do with improper breath support. Habit (1 B) not 2 B's like rabbit =)

Dizzy?
Does your sound seem 2 fuzzy also??
Make the hole smaller that you blow through.

But this seems to only happen in the extreme lower register below G and upper register Above Eb...maybe im blowing too much?

Are you playing your Bundy piccolo during the same period? That might account for some of the dizziness.

Ya. Too much blowing going on.
As I said don't allow a large opening in your lips. You're wasting air. In the low range, you think that you can relax the lips and this causes too much air. In the high notes, you're trying to blow too hard and this causes too much air. Just learn to control the lip opening and the breath pressure/support so as to not waste any air. This is only my guess.

The piccolo uses a much smaller quantity of air, even though the pressure is higher.
AS kids we used to make eachother faint by heavy breathing followed by a bear hug which raised blood pressure.
So presumably the pressure one is blowing at actually assists for this dizziness to occur. Higher prepssure (i.e. high notes) pushing more C02 into the blood?
