There is this solo orchestra competition coming up in Feb and i don't know what to play i haven't even picked a piece yet. I'm only 17 and this comp is for 13-25 so i want to play something that would impress the judges any suggestions???

It didn't say anything about concertos...it just said it must be suitable for an chamber orchestra and cant go over 15 minutes...

Exactly hwat kind of piece are they looking for/ what are the other people playing? Finding a good genre and piece that shows of many elements would be a good idea. Like Patrick said, find some more info. Picking the right piece is essential.
