So...since the beginning of my Sophmore year I've gotten really sick and wasnt able to attend school much....Which lead to me missing classes and tests...My Gpa drop super low(1.75)and the only choice i have is to take my GED...I just wanted to know if anyone knows if having a GED and audditioning for a conservatory will hurt my chancs of getting in?

Conservatories look mostly at your performance skills but academics can play a part in it, particuarly as seats fill up. Contact the conservatory admissions office and ask. Many times, you need recommendations or writing samples, both of which are a direct reflection of your academics thus far. If the conservatory is part of a college/university, then there's test scores and other details to worry about.

Yeah, homeschool.  It's got a much more flexible schedule and you can often take the tests required online instead of having to show up on a certain day in a classroom. That way you can get a real diploma for high school instead of a GED.

see if u can do part homeschool..or online hs classes.... Check the rules for ur school....some schools might allow u to stay an extra year if u dont have enough credits or low gpa..
