Dear All

I wanted to know if any one heard the Flute theme of "American Gigalo Movie" I have not seen the movie nor I have heard the theme. I believe the theme sounds really good. It is played by James Gallaway.
I would appreciate if any of you guide me to get notes & the theme on midi. I could not find it even on "You tube" & Google.

Best Regards

I found the movie on YouTube it's American Gigolo.

but not found a "flute theme" for it.
it could be that the theme has been transcribed for flute in some collection.

The original singer for that opening theme "Call Me" was named "Blondie"

Dear Bilbo,

Thanks, But I have read somwhere that there is flute theme played by famous "James Gallaway". I could not find anything even in James Gallaway's website.

I checked your postings, there is no flute in it.

Well, that was also my point. Unless I try to find the movie somewhere I may not be of help.

The only movie that I do know that Sir James was used in was the third "Rings" movie and this was only at the very ending.

Sir James has recorded many excerpts from things throughout his career. I wold not think that he recorded on the movie's original soundtrack BUT that he recorded some theme from that movie and sold it on a CD back then.
At that time there would have been a flutist in Hollywood named Sheridan Stokes that may be a good bet for many movie sound tracks. Tere is only a need for a very few flutists in movie background music at one time. Now the big guy is James Walker (Titanic).

So I looked around this morning and find nothing of any flute solos on the original film. I think that Galway has done a few albums where he has played some popular music/film music.
You have sparked my interest in this film which I've never seen before...
