Hi,

Just wondering (beside the obvious--open holes) compare.

Been thinking about getting a vintage Haynes, mainly for sound, so I was wondering which way to go. (I already have a nice open-hole Sankyo DN, so I dont care about open or closed)

So..any opinions? How do they compare tonally, scale-wise, mechanics?

anyone?

To clarify, please compare the differences (besides open holes) between the vintage Haynes Commercial and the Handmade models??

I think the commercial model had Y-arms (not pointed) and either drawn, drawn-rolled or soldered toneholes, I believe...
