Hey everyone! Since we all play a popular instrument, I am sure you have felt the pressure of auditions before. So in exactly three days I will be auditioning for a local youth orchestra in my state, and I was just curious. What are pieces expected of grade 5 or 6 on flute?

* Hilary Taggart Hillbilly Holiday: No. 11 from In the Sun
* Johann Christoph Pepusch Largo and Allegro: first and second movements from Sonata No. 3 in F, Second Suite
* Giles Swayne Paradise Stomp: No. 3 from Aspects of Paradise
* Egon Wellesz Tempo di marcia: first movement from Suite for Flute Solo, Op. 57
* Johann Joachim Quantz Vivace: third movement from Sonata in B flat, Op. 1 No. 2
