I have an audition in March and I need an easy song for me to play, but one that will be impressive. Im in 8th grade play flute and in begining band,so a pretty easy song. Its an audition for a high scool so I need to impress if I want to get into the music academy. If anybody can help I would greatly appreciate it. I need a fast and slow song to memorize by March 23. THANK YOU!
Gavotte sounds a bit hard! Tambourin sounds fun, I want it! I think Badinerie is quite hard, but good when pulled off! I have put it on 8notes flute sheet music if you want it! What level are you at?
Pyface, I think Tambourin is in D major right? I am not sure the Tambourin on this site is the same or not, (I lost my sheetmusic): http://www.flutegirl.ca/Playground.html

How about this piece, resonably easy
or the other grade 3 exam peice i have on there.
email me if your interested (i have the piano parts for both aswell, they sound really good with the piano, i have any other songs on the grade 3 silibus, in the book (also grade 5 silibus) and i also have a study from grade 4. (check the website)
the abrsm exam peices are quite nice to play, but it depends on your range. (if you can go up to high E then you can play the seashore, but the grade 2 stuff goes up to high A, in the 3rd octave)
Oops. Sorry. I thought u're in Grade 8 in Music. I can write a lot of easy things, by syllabus for beginners!!!
Bach - Gavotte in G major
Beethoven - Sonata in Bb major for Piano and flute
Gluck - Minuet
Gossec - Tambourin
Mozart - Papageno's Aria
Vivaldi - Sicilienne )from 2nd mvt of Concerto Il Gardellino)
Gabriel Faure - Berceuse (REALLY BEAUTIFUL)
Erik Satie - Gymnopedie No.1,and/or 2,and/or 3.
Brainwave!!! 'I Will Follow Him' from Sister Act! It's simple, but effective, and it's known! It has three flats, and goes up to Eb, above the third C! Is that 3Eb, or Eb3? It's a third octave Eb! Could u play that?

Ooooohhhhh! How about 'I Don't Know How to Love Him' from Jesus Christ Superstar?
