I've got a performance in a couple of weeks and I need some help with what I could play! I'm a grade 8 flautist (been playing about 11 years) but, seeing as the performance is in a couple of weeks, I don't want to play anything too difficult as I won't have enough time to perfect it and be happy with it. It has got to be a solo piece (no piano accompaniment). There isn't really a limit on time or anything. I guess I'm looking for a fun piece that a lot of people would enjoy but I'm open to any suggestions! Thanks in advance

Hi,
I'd prepare a piece i have played before. It would then be less effort but just as rewarding.
Bach is a good sugestion. Mozart's also easy to deliver a good result at your profficiency level.
Good luck.
