I am playing Lincolnshire Posy and in the 4th movement, for those of you that know the piece, there are many quick sextuplets. Do you have any tips on learning to play these quick, or for quick notes in general? Also I`d like to know any tips on playing fast notes that are tongued and getting good tone on high notes. This is a college level piece and I`m only in 9th grade, you I don`t have as much experience as the general group playing this!! Thanks

Start slow, and learn it correctly. Then gradually keep pushing yourself faster and faster

I played that in honour band a while ago, and i`m in grade 9 as well. It is not that hard after a while. Just practise and practise, and then you will get it. That`s what i did, and i finally got it. Good luck though.

I played the same peice!!!! on the fast notes say "took-a-too" repeatingly. It works I promise.(but keep your embechure tight or it wont)
