hi
i recently switched to a buffet e11 eb from my b12.
with my new clarinet my sound is like there is too much moisture in my clarinet like if you have been playing for an hour or so and the sound becomes watery even if i have just started playing.
i never had the problem with my b12. is there anything i can do?

I had that problem when I was working on my tryout piece for district band. My band director said that I needed to tighten my embrochre (sp). Try that it might help. It helped me.

After playing sax for a good couple of years, I decided to take up a different instrument on the side... the clarinet. Well, when I got it, I played for a few weeks with the stock reed, and the sound was just as you had described it. Very "wet" and "spitty." So I decided to get a new reed, and that cleared the problem right up, and the new reed wasn`t really even a good one. Perhaps it is your reed that is the problem? Just my imput.

I find that sometimes the pad on the middle C# key (top LH pinky) leaks spit sometimes, thus creating a very "spitty sound" Swabbing out the clarinet or placing a piece of paper or cloth gets rid of this problem easily.
