Hi clarinets! I`ve had this problem for some time now and I`m ready to solve it. I always have trouble trilling from D to E on the staff. Does anyone have a technique they use to make it easier on themselves? My finger just doesn`t move that fast.Thank You for your help.

eh, I`ve had to do that for a whole 6 measures before in a concert! just work at it because I don`t think there`s an alternate fingering.

That`s a hard one.............I haven`t heard of any alternate fingerings, if you find one I would be amazed. The only thing I would say would be practice the fingerings and try to get as much movement from the finger, its a hard one to move!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!

ease into it and start out slow then speed up and youll be surprised how fast you will be by the time the trill is over. this way it sounds faster too...thats what i think anyway lol

Use the wrist as well as the actual fingers to get more leverage.
