Hi fellow clarinet players! I feel incredibly guilty for complaining about not getting first chair... I`m just a really competitive person who doesn`t like to lose. Now that I think about it, it doesn`t seem so bad that I got 2nd. Maybe this had to happen to enlighten me that I`m not always going to be the best. Thank you Dennis and Leprachaun for your input. It calmed me down a lot! Oh by the way! We do our auditions during class by a tape recorder in my band teacher`s office. All of the clarinets were standing in the hallway, and I just happened to be listening to her audition while waiting to go back to class.
