I have a bass clarinet I would like to sell. It is a NOBLET, it is vintage, and it is made of wood. The serial number is 1848. Could anyone tell me the approximate age of the clarinet, and how much it is worth?

IDK but I did hear my band teacher say his wooden clarinet is more expensive than the ones other clarinetists at school have so my guess would be that yours is also more expensive than a regular bass. How much ya selling it for I play bass at school and I would like to own a bass.

I own a Noblet, serial number 468, made in 1938. It's in perfect working order, the keys are not tarnished, no dents and I paid $1,000 US for it. You can still buy them brand new (Noblet is now owned by LeBlanc) and a new Noblet will cost you $8,500 US. Hope this helps.
