Are you asking for fingerings or for high note advice? Well, if you're looking for advice I'll put in my $.02. I couldn't play the high G or above that until I was in the 9th grade. I'm in 10th now... My embouchure was just too tight. One day I loosened up, and, BAM!!, there they were! Try loosening up. It takes real control to keep those notes in tune and from destroying someone's eardrum.

Good Lord those fingerings on here can make me go cross-eyed looking at them!

G#/Ab - overblow High Eb
A - Overblow high E
A#/Bb - Register Key (no thumb hole) and Left Hand Middle Finger and Right Hand Pinky
B - Thumb/Register Key, Left Hand Ab throat tone, Left Hand Index and middle, Right Hand index and middle, Pinky
C - Just like B above only take off the middle fingers of both hands
C# - thumb/Register Key, left hand middle and ring, Right hand middle and ring, pinky
D - Overblown High A (really really overblown high E)
D# - Overblown High Bb
E - High Bb with Left Hand A throat tone, Right hand bottom two side trill keys.

That's all I will do for now! Once you get those out I'll give you some more!

Omigosh I remember in 8th grade I found a poster in the back of a cupboard in the old music room with all the high fingerings for clarinet.. I spent ages learning how to play the G and it finally paid off (eg. I had it in a song.. and only I could play it. Felt very special).

thanks! I was looking for fingerings. Actually I've already accomplished G. I was told by my instructor that you could play much higher than that and I was just wondering. I have been playing for a little less than three years and am just getting a little bored so I decided to see if I could go more beyond my level than I already have. Thanks again!!

The A throat tone and Bb throat tone... are the flare keys to play A-Ab second space in the staff. they are right above the 1st space F# key.
