use to play V12 3's on a 5RV lyre (great combo), but now an M13 Lyre profile 88 with 3-1/2's or 4's.

Soprano clarinet - Vandoren blue box 3 1/2
Alto clarinet - Alexander DC 3 (alto sax)
Sometimes if I don't feel like dealing with cane, I use a 3 1/2 Legere Quebec cut (soprano) & Fibracell #3 (alto)

Vandoren 3's, and occasionally Rico 3's if I'm broke and just need a reed

i've never tried anything outside of Vandoren. I was always told never to use Rico Reeds because they're basically beginner reeds. i'm not sure how true that is, but i've always just stuck to playing Vandoren and even when my music store only had Rico, i just went to another. i just won't play anything else...but anyway. On my B45 mouthpiece i play the Vandoren, Blue Box, 3.5. i've found those are the best for my mouthpiece and me.

vandoren 3s on bass......if I could find bass Zondas I'd give them a try

i find the 2 easier to play and find it gives a nicer note.

My teacher didn't have any 3s so she was like "Try a 3 1/2." I can't hit anything! Gur rawr.
