My school is doing Somniphobia. Its a really dark, minor piece. And we're going to have a bed as a prop, and from what I heard its going to be the first year the marching band will use props, so it'll be interesting!

this year: "An American Salute" (apparently the title might change) purportedly in honor of VA's 400th aniversary

We just did The Best of the Doors. Dunno what we're doing this year yet. I'm a freshman but i know the years before I joined they've done The Incredibles and Styx
Well, Fresman year: FIRE AND ICE! (all russian, Opener was the russian national athem, then Battle On The Ice, then Fire of Eternal Glory, then Shostakovich's symphony #9, the allegretto part)
Then this year(sophmore year) Immortal Beloved(opener was Bethovans Pathatique piano sonata, then Moonlight sonata, then Ode to Joy.) that worked quite well. My band director has connections to Phantom Regiment, and J.D. Shaw and Jamie Thompson.
