It could be the reed, the mouthpiece, or your technique. Remember to really support the notes.
In my opinion, seek the help of a teacher.

how ever it can also be a leak in your instrument.
Did you have anybody else play it? (If they got same results then its the instrument, if they got a better sound then its you or your reeds.)
