Hello there,
I'm new here and I've been playing the clarinet for 1 year already.
I would like to know and find out some of the reasons why we squeak.
Anyone knows?

in my experience, squeeks are caused by;
dry reed
wet reed
soft reed
hard reed
bad reed
damaged reed
damaged pads
damaged mpc
bad embochure (tight or loose lips)
nerves
too much air
not covering the holes properly
v.high notes (related to embochure).
there may be more, but thats all i can think of now...
