I named mine the first day I ever got it in fifth grade.
My plastic Selmer is Bob (Bobicuspluribusunum I)
And my wood Leblanc is Ignacious (of Loyola) or my baby

well my golden clarinet i named clari i say that it is a girl

I don't know if the school's FOX FOUR is a guy or a gal, but whichever it is, it's honary, it's givin me a hell of a time right now, lol!

my friend and her sister had too share a clarinet last year, and they both had different names for it... one thought it was a guy, the other thought it was a girl...
the poor clarinet will have identity/gender confusion when it grows up:D

and i call my clarinet squeak, because i squeak alot

When I originally got my clarinet, the cool thing in school to say was "bejesus'. Don't ask why, I don't know. I was in sixth grade. But when I opened the case and saw it, I said " Bejesus" The name hhas stuck, and two clarinets later, my R13 is Bejesus the third.

My 8 year old son calls his Clari.
