Does anybody know Nino Rota's 'Sonata in D' for A clarinet?
Did you like it?
What level is it?
Is there a site on the net where I can listen to it, or perhaps go through some pages?

Lovely. Heard a version on the website Classic Cat. Must look up the music soon.

Just by chance I came across a recording of this piece a few hours ago. Haven't been able to listen to it properly yet (middle of the night, will wake everybody up, etc) but snippets played at a very low volume sound pretty nice.

Unfortunately, the first movement seems to be truncated. It's possibly a technical glitch – there's no indication that it's intended as a sample only. Movements 2 & 3 are all there.

Yep. Same one I heard. But not all of the movement. Just a minute or two for sample. Beautiful clarinet, though.

Indeed, nice clarinet sound. I believe the piece is technically not extremely difficult, right? That means I could work a lot on character and tone colour. Hmm, sounds exactly like a good piece for me.
I also found this piece from a trio for cello, clarinet and piano by Nino Rota:
