Hi guys! Please help me in choosing an instrument to play. In the clarinet family, I'm considering the Eb clarinet more than the Bb clar. I think it is the easiest to play because of its small size, and may require lesser blowing pressure. Is it true? What are your comments?
Please compare Eb clar to Bb as to ease of playing etc..

Sorry Alverindo, but your thoughts are totally flopsided. Before EVER buying ANY other clarinet, ALWAYS buy a Bb. Buying an Eb first would be like a flutist buying a piccolo first! Usually only professional/college level/advanced h.s. level musicians play Eb. Infact, Eb is EXTREMELY more difficult to play than Bb. A more significant amount of air is required and a much firmer embachoure is used, not to mention you most be accomplished technically to find your way around the tight fingerings of the Eb. Also, Eb's are MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE than Bb's. BUY A Bb!!!
