about a couple of months ago i bought a wooden clarinet with gold keys and the mouth piece is ebonite i think. i was wonder what should i use to clean the keys and does any one else have a golden clarinet
The keys aren't made just out of gold. They're almost always gold-plated if they look golden. The reason for this is, it costs a lot to make solid gold keys (10,000$+) ... and gold is VERY soft, so you could bend the keys very easily.
it has orthentic gold keys and i do realise the cost as i bought it and picked it. I also realise that it is very easy to bend and there for i take very good care of it. u still didnt answer my question of what i should use to clean the keys
i dont have a golden clarinet but it sounds wicked interesting... the fact that u have one sounds cool
good luck findin hoe to clean it
if i find any info on it
ill hit u up :D
A gold clarinet just means that the keywork is made of gold, or silver plated. There are such things as full metal clarinets, except the bore is much smaller, and its a lot thiner. They as usually made of silver.
