Hi! I am a highschooler clarinet player. There will be SAISA(South Asian International School Association) band/ choir in Febuary, which is a international festival including band, choir, solo/ensemble, and jazz band/choir. They pick 5 solo players to perform infront of 600 students and parents, and I am going to try out this year too. I think I have the technique and guts to play Prelude, but I haven't learn to do the circular breathing, which I think is essential for playing Prelude, and I was thinkig if I stopped for a breathing in the middle of music, it would be a disaster. So... I did watch youtube "how to" videos, and googled circular breathing, and I figured it was impossible to play! Everytime I do the circular breathing my concentration gets lost!!! I live in Bangladesh, and I don't think there is a teacher that could help me. Can you guys give me an advice? By the way, do you think "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-SXpHFTr6Q" is good?
